We believe in making scientific learning active and engaging. The subject knowledge content and the working scientifically skills are set out for each year group. Teaching and learning is supported by relevant trips, visits, visitors and workshops to enhance and deepen children’s understanding and skills. Teaching and learning is sometimes blocked to give more time to explore concepts in depth.

Assessment is made against he Target Tracker statements each half term and monitored through our online assessment tool.
