Religious Education

In accordance with the 1996 Education Act we provide religious education for all pupils registered at the school. Religious Education and the National Curriculum make up the basic curriculum. Religious education is taught in accordance with a locally agreed syllabus and meets the RE entitlement. Our school uses the ODBE RE units of work which are creatively delivered through RE Focus Weeks. RE has the same status and importance as any other curriculum subjects.

Annual Prayer Spaces Week offers an opportunity for the school community to explore spirituality through Prayer and Reflection.

The four stations focus on the prayer acronym S (sorry), T (thank you), O (others), P (please)
