History

At Bampton CE Primary School we use Kapow Primary to plan units of work allowing for coverage of the History curriculum content and to develop children’s awareness of chronology.  These units are then adapted to meet the needs of our children. Trips and workshops are used to bring history learning to life for example; the local museum has a loan service and runs workshops to help children explore artefacts and be history detectives. The Bampton Archive are a helpful source of local history information and Bampton residents support the children when undertaking history studies.
