An annually elected school council allows for the children's voice to play an active part in shaping school life and decisions as well as promoting the British value of democracy.

Last year the school council led us in fundraising for local and national charities. For Comic Relief they held a "Make the Staff Laugh" event. They designed our new Anti-Bullying leaflet (see below). They sought feedback on suggestions for school meals which shaped the menu planning. They gathered the votes from children across the school to select proposed names for our two new learning spaces. The Den was decided on for our little learning space next to Fox Class and The Nest was voted as the most popular name for our new ELSA room. They provided regular feedback from their classes which helped shape playtime provision.
