At Bampton Primary School our three core Christian values of Respect, Friendship and Perseverance underpin our curriculum and through these values, and our belief in treating every child as an individual, we strive to enable each child to be the best they can be. We aim for high academic and personal expectations. We nurture self-esteem and value differences. Our curriculum aims to engage children in the enjoyment of learning.

Assessment is essential to develop children’s learning. Formative assessment is happening continually in lessons and involves the children and the staff in working together to assess where children are and how to move learning forward. Summative assessment is used to provide an assessment of a child’s attainment at a point in time. We record summative assessments three times a year in terms 2,4 and 6 using Target Tracker.
