Ethos and Values

Bampton CE Primary School is an inclusive community whose Christian foundation emphasises that:

  • education is aimed at developing the whole child
  • every member of the school is valued as a unique individual
  • we build a community of learning to which all can contribute their best efforts

These aims are enabled through a quality curriculum delivered by staff who are committed to professional development, working in partnership with parents, the Church and the wider community.

As a school we agreed our three core values to be Respect, Friendship and Perseverance which underpins our Vision and gives us strong foundations on which to build in order to be “the best we can be.” We use the parable of The Wise Man and The Foolish Man to illustrate the importance of building on strong foundations. A copy is available here for your information The Wise and Foolish Man Story

Below is a video of the song which we sing to remind us of the parable.

Our core values are also the basis for our Code of Conduct 3 school Rules 2019

By balancing academic, social, spiritual and extra-curricular elements we help children build the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to a fully rounded and worthwhile life.

Bampton is a school that lives out its Christian foundation effectively.
